Purpose
This site is a space for sharing reflections, experiences, and projects shaped by several decades of practice in the field of design. Its purpose is to spark conversation, draw lessons from the past, and, in turn, offer fresh perspectives on the future of design.
Curator
The site is curated by Giuseppe Attoma Pepe. Born in Genoa, Italy, Giuseppe is a Design Strategy Consultant with over 30 years of international experience helping organizations shape user-centered services, digital products, and transformation programs.
He founded Attoma, a Paris-based agency recognized as a pioneer in user-centered design and one of the early advocates of design as a strategic discipline in Europe. In 2019, Attoma became part of the Assist Digital group, a leading European player in Customer Experience. Giuseppe contributed as a senior design strategist, supporting the integration of strategic design capabilities within the French subsidiary.
Following Assist Digital’s 2025 decision to pivot away from strategic design activities in France and concentrate on call center operations, Giuseppe returned to independent consulting and design research.
Giuseppe advises corporate clients and public institutions on innovation strategies, complex services, and digital ecosystems. A recognized design theorist in information design, service design, and user experience, he is also a frequent keynote speaker, published author, and visiting lecturer at leading design institutions in Europe and beyond.
